The ER was a success! I was able to get my first ever IV in on my first patient. I was shaking as I was getting all my supplies together but once I was standing next to the patient and ready to start, my nerves just vanished and I focused on what I was doing. I had so much fun being in the hospital environment and I was bummed when the 4 hours were over - I wish I could have stayed all day! I can't wait to get back into the hospital!
